Who am I and why have I started this blog???

My name is Connor. I'm a recent university graduate, and hopefully soon a civil engineer. Music is a huge part of my life. I have grown up playing drums and guitar in bands, but have always been fascinated by new and interesting ways to make music. I have a bit of DIY electronics experience with guitar pedal, having made a number of clones on stripboard, with varying levels of success. Recently, I have been inspired by artists utilising modular systems, especially those with DIY elements, to create music and sounds that are completely unique.

I've started this blog to document and share my journey building my own DIY modular synth. I plan to make all my designs and resources available, and hope to share what I learn along the way. In the same way so many DIY blogs have helped me learn, I hope that can share some of the cool resources and interesting ideas I have during this process.

My desk is currently covered in schematics. I'm excited to realise these designs.
